Imperial was born in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines.
In her younger years, she first auditioned for ABS-CBN's Goin' Bulilit. However, Imperial was not accepted because she was 13 and considered too old for the role. She continued to try her luck in another television network and was luckily casted as QT in TV5's horror show Midnight DJ.
As of this writing, Imperial is a contract star of Star Magic and Viva Artists Agency Artist. Among the projects she completed in ABS-CBN were two afternoon series. One of which is an antagonist role in Galema: Anak ni Zuma and Moon of Desire which was said to be her very first leading role.
