Pigs were brutally killed and eaten by unknown entity in Cagayan De Oro
People of Mindanao particularly in Ecoville Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro are now in the state of panic and fear as poultry animals around the region, mostly swines started to die suddenly with a very unusual cause.Couple of photos were posted on the TV Patrol Northern Mindanao Facebook page, showing numerous pigs lay on the ground, killed and believed to be eaten alive which immediately caught the attention of netizens.
Reportedly, the animals were found dead with gruesome wounds caused by an alleged beast attack. While most pigs were just killed by their blood being sucked out dry, some have been eaten alive up to their bones.
Speculation of "Aswang" attacks started to circulate the online community. Some even shared their own experience about the sudden poultry killings.
Some netizens mentioned the tale of 'Chupacabra', an unknown entity with a habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially pigs and goats.
Authorities are currently investigating reports of the alleged attacks and sightings in several towns in Central Mindanao particularly in North Cotabato and Maguindanao.
